As part of Jeep fest, we will be talking about car design.
FCA is sending some concepts of its new Jeep Gladiator pickup launched in April. The automaker also is sending two of its top Jeep stars to give presentations as part of a Jeep Speaker Series sponsored by SSOE Inc. and held at a stage in the convention center.
Giving a presentation at 2 p.m. will be Toledoan Taylor Langhals, the chief exterior designer of the Gladiator and the designer who created the (heart) 4-1-9 tribute found exclusively on Gladiator truck beds to honor his hometown.
At 2:30 p.m., Mr. Langhals will be followed by Mark Allen, FCA head of Jeep Design, the man who oversaw the entire design process of the Gladiator and whose job it is to oversee production design of all Jeep vehicles.
