https://www.facebook.com/events/1839646409392711??ti=iaThe Maumee Valley Country Day School Global Leadership Program Speaker Series welcomes Colonel Sue Ann Sandusky, speaking on “Cooperation and Conflict”, Tuesday, November 28, 2017, 6:30-7:30pm in the Kasperzak Center, Maumee Valley Country Day School. There will be a reception from 7:30-8:00pm. This is a free event open to the public.
Colonel Sue Ann Sandusky is a retired Colonel from the American Defense Intelligence Agency and the former Commandant of the Defense Language Institute. She spent 37 years working in conflict zones in Africa. She witnessed two African civil wars and helped bring an end to another. She received multiple awards for these accomplishments. She also deployed to Somalia with a Zimbabwe infantry company and helped with the deployment of Nigerian troops to Darfur. Additionally she has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, trekked to Timbuktu and canoed on the Zambezi.
