Design of the new Zoo aquarium –
Toledo Zoo
The next American Institute of Architects Toledo chapter monthly meeting will be March 26 at the Zoo. It includes a buffet dinner, guest speaker Ursula Currie and a tour of the new aquarium. Ursula Currie is a Senior Associate at EHDD in San Francisco. She joined the firm in 1997 and has contributed a wide breadth of design, technical knowledge and management expertise to a variety of complex project types, including aquariums, zoos, labs and academic buildings. She is the lead designer of the Toledo Aquarium renovation as well as the project manager of the design team for both the Toledo Aquarium and the Toledo Penguin exhibit which opened in 2014.
