This half-day workshop will focus on technologies and energy efficiency practices that work to lower energy costs and reduce fossil fuel consumption. Presenters will discuss a range of topics, including geothermal energy, energy efficiency case studies, and local programs. This workshop is designed for both the public and private sector, including public officials, facility managers, property managers, and those interested in energy efficiency and geothermal energy.

Hear about Rick’s involvement with the transformation of the old DANA World Headquarters into the new and completely remodeled Health Care REIT Corporate Offices here in Toledo.

Rick will talk about his mission to make Health Care REIT buildings LEED certified and some of the cutting edge technologies used in making their buildings as efficient as possible such as integrating a solar field’s output into Health Care REIT’s Corporate Offices building energy consumption.

This workshop, hosted by U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown's Office, the CDFA Ohio Financing Roundtable and the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority, will explore the importance of energy efficiency retrofits and installations and the variety of financing programs in the Buckeye State available to support these developments. Attendees will meet the people administering the programs, learn about the tools, find out how to receive allocations, and hear about real projects.

The Regional Energy Forum will provide attendees with fresh perspectives on how the energy landscape is evolving and transforming. Energy industry experts and thought leaders will review the diverse methods that are being deployed to meet the growing energy demand.
