Local developer Patrick McSweeny will be going over recent developments in front-end web development in a talk aimed at graphic designers. Over the past few years, advances in browser technologies and the emergence of tablets and mobile phones have opened many new possibilities and challenges in regards to designing for the web.

The goal of this talk will be to help designers understand what is possible with regards to designing for the web nowadays and help stimulate the creative thought process.
