The Future of Toledo Initiative is bringing together key stakeholders to transform our city and region. Over the last 6 months we have held 3 Community Meetings and identified the following 14 Strategic Projects for 2013. Review the items. Which one is most important to you?   • Advance the City’s Brand & Community Engagement through Social Media
  • Develop Regional Education Master Plan (Involve & Mentor)
  • Determine Feasibility of a Water District
  • Launch an Econ Dev Corridor
  • Advance Waterfront Development
  • Promote Citizen Engagement through Volunteerism
  • Create an Incentive Program for Attracting & Retaining Businesses (e.g., Downtown Hotel, Downtown Grocery Store)
  • Eliminate Blight & Repurpose Land
  • Create the Toledo Off Road Jeep Trail
  • Craft and Launch a Park & Rec System Master Plan
  • Provide Resources for More Fire & Police
  • Create a Common Vision Among: Board of Community Relations, Better Community Relations Board, the Mayor’s Coalition for Hope, Dept. of Neighborhoods, and the Youth Commission
  • 311 Call Center Integrated Solution Supported by an Asset Management Tracking System (Cityworks & Accela)
  • Arts – Partner with the Arts Commission to Put on a Great Event.
