https://www.facebook.com/events/495808007240231/Toledo Integrated Media Education has received a license to broadcast on 106.1 FM in Toledo. We are building a grassroots independent media outlet that will focus on the people and politics of our city, using an integrated model that includes radio, video, and web content.
Our station will follow a community radio platform, where everyday people are encouraged to produce their own content - be it talk, music, or something else entirely. Content producers will be given access to a fully equipped studio and training in the art and science of radio programming - all at no cost.
This meeting is for anyone who is interested in being a part of this new and exciting venture. We are presently looking for people who can help us raise funds and produce sample content for the station ahead of its formal launch next year.
Free food and drinks will be available, and the meeting is expected to last between 60 and 90 minutes. Please join us in the Pride Room at the Collingwood Arts Center at 7pm on Monday, June 22nd, and help spread the word by inviting others. Thanks!
