http://email.capitolhillnewsonline.com/q/_0TCRQa5osJo5--pmgPVLXksjVDUpyoaW1yFkxp0QiMvbYgQeO1GGEjK3Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur (OH-9) will host a Lake Erie Water Technology Business Summit in conjunction with Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) with special guests from U.S. Department of Agriculture, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Cleveland District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration on March 23, 2015 from 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM.
The morning session will provide small business owners, researchers, and other stakeholders, with information on federal and state programs that can be a valuable resource when developing or marketing a product/technology or researching a proposed solution to Lake Erie’s water problems. Some time will be set aside for one on one meetings with panel members after the session is over.
The afternoon session will focus on nutrient management solutions for the Western Lake Erie Basin and is designed for farmers, agribusinesses and municipalities. This session features a presentation by EPA’s AgSTAR bioenergy program, an innovative research and educational partnership between USEPA, USDA, and USDOE. Lunches will be available for purchase.
