Bowling Green State University women alumnae, faculty, and students are invited to this networking event to discuss relevant issues unique to women in the tech industry workplace, ask questions, share professional advice, and offer mentorship.

Participating alumnae include: Anne Fosnaugh, Tina Bell Vance, and Mercé Lanise Culp... but more will be added!

We will be meeting to continue planning the vision and putting actions into place for organizing the NW Ohio “Women in Computing” (goals being for Networking, Mentoring and Learning).

Each person is responsible for paying for their own meal and drinks.

The Columbus Women In Technology 2nd Annual Conference features career & leadership, technical, and innovation topics to an audience of 500 women ranging from software delivery roles, leadership & management, technical & engineering, and recruiting/sales roles supporting the industry.

Columbus Women In Technology is a non-profit organization with the specific mission to address the declining pipeline of women in technology through programs that promote awareness, address attrition, create opportunities to transition to tech, and preparation for leadership.

We encourage you to be part of the conversation by sending a group of women in technical roles from your company to this uplifting, motivational, and educational conference.

Many of us met at the Connect IT "women in computing" roundtables in May and September.

We have scheduled Tuesday, Oct. 24th 5:30 pm at Ralphie’s – Perrysburg for our first Women in Computing networking dinner together.

It will be informal. We will discuss how we may want to proceed. Dinner will be ‘dutch treat’.

No RSVP is required - just show up. Feel free to invite others.

The Ohio Celebration of Women in Computing is a biannual event that gives young women the opportunity to explore careers in IT, to network with other young women and to meet possible mentors. OCWiC inspires women to complete their studies in computing by expanding their awareness of career possibilities and learning from women leaders from business, industry and academia.
