Cisco iWAN and Meraki Lunch & Learn
Perry Pro Tech

Join PERRY proTECH over lunch for a technical deep dive into iWAN and Meraki for a new approach to borderless networks.

Cisco iWAN

The constantly increasing capacity and reliability of the Internet have changed every aspect of IT. With Cisco iWAN, engineers can optimize WAN performance by dynamically aggregating MPLS and Internet resources. iWAN adds components to Cisco's Integrated Services Routers that make it possible to connect branch networks to both the Internet and the WAN, dynamically making decisions based on the needs of the application.

Cisco Meraki

As you know, Meraki is now part of Cisco. With cloud-managed edge and branch networking solutions, Cisco Meraki simplifies enterprise-class networks. Wireless, switching, security and devices are centrally managed from the cloud. Meraki gives network administrators visibility and control without the cost and complexity of traditional architectures.

Seating is limited and advanced registration is required.

Northwest Ohio ISSA Capture the Flag - July 18th 2019
Launchpad Incubation

This month Northwest Ohio ISSA will be hosting a CTF (Capture the Flag) as part of its meeting. The CTF will include a variety of both offensive and defensive oriented challenges, trivia questions, and a variety of vulnerable systems for you to try to exploit. A brief session at the end will cover any flags that you want to learn more about or see how they were captured. We will also attempt to have some open source monitoring analyzing traffic, with a few monitors displayed to watch which attacks people are trying. To participate bring your own device (you should probably make sure to turn the firewall on as the network will most likely be hostile). We’ll have some USB sticks and DVDs with Kali, Parrot, and a few other random penetration testing or forensics analysis distributions that you can use in a Live boot capacity, or feel free to download and install your favorite distribution or toolset in advance! Feel free to bring your commercial tools if you like! The room that we have rented can fit up to 50 people, so please bring any friends that are willing to learn! Pizza, snacks, drinks, and more will be available for everyone! Come sit back and relax with us!
