Culture Change: Creating A FANatical Experience
Fifth Third Field

The Greater Toledo Area Chapter (GTAC) of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) invites YOU to “Take your family and friends OUT TO THE BALL GAME” for a fun and inspirational look at an organization transforming itself and the downtown Toledo area.

Wednesday, April 13, 2016 Toledo Mud Hens

3:30- Registration (in the 3rd floor Roost)

4:00- Joe Napoli, President and CEO of Toledo Mud Hens talks about “Culture Change: Creating A FANatical Experience”

The customer experience a brand delivers, is critical to its success. But operating two premier minor league franchises, the customer experience is the brand. Joe Napoli will review how in 2009 the Toledo Mud Hens and Toledo Walleye developed a plan to transform all their people from fan-friendly to fan-focused; a journey to motivate and inspire all employees to view their jobs through the eyes of the fans. He will discuss how the franchises are succeeding today, growth within the organizations, and orientation for new employees.

5:00- Guided tour of the new Hensville meeting and game space. Hensville, the newly renovated downtown space surrounding Fifth Third Field, will open to the public April 7 (Opening Day). Come be one of the first to tour the area, see meeting spaces available for game-day AND non-game-day use by companies and organizations in the Toledo area. We will tour the newly renovated Roost, Nine (the new restaurant onsite), Rooftop on Nine; the Fleetwood Building including the Tap Room, Armory, and High Five; and Hensville Park.

6:00- Buffet in 3rd floor Roost

Then experience a game-day event in the renovated Roost area. Attendees receive an All American buffet (including soft drinks and water) and game ticket to watch either from a stadium seat or the warmer window area in the Roost.

6:35- Hens vs Indianapolis Indians

Cheer on the Hens under new Manager Lloyd McClendon. Check out the expanded Swamp Shop to collect not just Hens gear for the new season, but also “Holy Toledo” and “419” wearables.
