Marketing with Impact: Standing Out and Being Remembered
King Road Branch Library

We all know the saying “You Never Get a Second Chance to Make a First Impression”.

So, why do we miss so many opportunities at making the best first impression we can?

You only have a short window to make a good impression. The average consumer is smacked with thousands of messages per day from companies begging for their attention.

How do you make sure that your message is heard?

How do you stand out from the crowd?

In this Meetup, Ken Franzen is going to dive in and explore some very recognizable and sometimes confusing marketing messages like Unique Selling Propositions, Value Propositions, and Elevator Pitches. Recognizable because we’ve all heard of them. Confusing because most of us don’t fully understand how and where to use them.

At the end of this Meetup, you should be able to create your own marketing messages that will provide clarity to the value you provide and the reason someone should choose to do business with you.

A little about Ken:

Ken Franzen the President and Co-Founder of Neon Goldfish, a digital marketing agency based in Toledo, Ohio specializing in web design and inbound marketing strategies.

His fascination with the constant evolution of consumer behavior and digital marketing keeps him awake and night and gets him up early in the morning.

Before founding Neon Goldfish in 2007, Ken was a freelance web designer and an account manager in the yellow page industry.

Ken lives in Michigan with his amazing wife and three fun and crazy children. His interests include smoking meat, traveling to places where the sun shines, and honing in his golf game in time to join the Senior Tour.
