Presented by TBA Intellectual Property Committee and Seed Coworking — Tech Law 2.0 on Friday, February 27th.

8:30am registration with refreshments provided by SPOKE.

9:00-10:00am Professional photographer Andrew Weber and Tim Van Tuinen, Esq. will discuss commercial photography, licensing, detection of unauthorized use, and remedies including takedown notices and litigation.

10:00-10:30am Web designer Danny Woodcock (of Birney-Woodcock) and Larry Meyer, Esq. will discuss Reverse Image Search and Invisible Digital Watermarks, including the protection of commercial photographs and detection of their unauthorized use.

10:30-11:30am Larry Meyer, Esq. will discuss the appropriate art of Richard Prince, the case of Cariou v. Prince, and legal defense of transformative use.

1:00pm (optional) screening of the film “Popaganda: The Art and Crimes of Ron English,” a documentary film showcasing guerrilla artist Ron English.
