The Hour of Code began as a one-hour coding challenge to give students a fun first introduction to computer science and has become a global learning event, celebration, and awareness event.

The BGSU ACM student chapter and the BGSU Women in Computing group are hosting an Hour of Code event for anyone with an interest in computer science!

We invite non-CS majors as well as high school students to participate.

Participants will get to experience hands-on programming with Lego Mindstorms EV3 robots.

The event will take place on-campus at BGSU in Hayes Hall 020.

The University of Toledo ACM Women in Computing student chapter is hosting an Hour of Code on December 8 (Friday) at 5:30 PM at the Eberly Women's Center.

It is open to the community!

They will be doing a brief introduction to computer science (discussing career opportunities, majors, etc.) followed by building a simple website in HTML/CSS. At the end of the workshop, they will share some resources the students can use to learn more.
