This weekend is the last event of the semester for the BGSU ACM student chapter and Bowling Green Women in Computing (BGWIC).

We will be celebrating the graduating seniors, eating great food, and having a great Saturday with your favorite programming friends!

The menu will include a grill out with kabobs, chips, drinks, and fruit salad.

Representatives of Cisco will speak on leveraging technology in a fast-paced market where start-ups are challenging many corporations.

BGSU Women in Computing is a student organization sponsored by the Department of Computer Science. The BGWIC mission is to support the unique needs of female students pursuing a degree in Computer Science by providing professional development, social networking, and community involvement opportunities in a collaborative, empowering environment.

Come out and hear from Rebecca Sullivan and Tori Brenneison, who are both developers at Hyland Software! Their presentation is described as "writing clean, maintainable code, with some life lessons for new developers who might be interacting with huge existing codebases"

Lacking confidence about your design skills as a developer, or just want to learn how to create better designs for your websites or software applications?

Come to BGWIC's next event, "Design 101 for Developers," this Tuesday at 6:00pm in Hayes 114!

Emily Kardamis, a student from the Digital Arts department, will be presenting on what makes a design work, and how to create one that works for your project!

Any person with an interest in this topic is welcome.

Hear Bethany Ruiz from The Andersons discuss her knowledge regarding An Enterprise Business System (SAP). Ms. Ruiz is also a professor here at BGSU as she teaches a course in MIS. Food and drinks will be provided
