Join us for a different StartUp Toledo event Thursday, August 22, for an evening of networking, BBQ, glass blowing, and cooking your ideas with your entrepreneur and professional peers — It's The Idea BBQ!

Joining us will be Jeremy Caverly, Product Manager of Mobile Apps for Quicken Loans. Jeremy has been a guru of online technology & communications for more than 18 years. From working with local small businesses to managing service engagements & marketing strategies for brands such as Nike, Whole Foods, and Quicken Loans, he has pretty much done and seen it all. Jeremy will be talking “Pitch Culture” with us and helping with a "Pitch Triage" to show how to better present an idea to investors! This is a topic that is discussed often in our regional startup community.

Also joining us will be our friends from Startup Weekend who will be telling you about their September 20-22 event.

This will be an indoor/outdoor BBQ. Gathered Art Gallery and Studios is graciously hosting us and will have live glassblowing demos after Jeremy speaks. Come have a cool drink, and some hot BBQ from our BBQ Food Truck!
