The Allen Bradley SLC500 is a family of small programmable controllers, discrete, analog, specialty I/O, and peripheral devices. They deliver power and flexibility with a wide range of communication configuration, features, and memory options.

The RSLogix 500 programming package helps you maximize performance, save project development time, and improve productivity. RSLogix 500 software can be used for programming both the SLC 500 and MicroLogix controller families.

Students will receive a basic understanding of SLC500 project, including an introductory look at routines, data table files, and addressing. An overview of RSLinx software and configuring communication drivers to allow the computer to communicate to the various processors will also be covered. At the end of this module students will be comfortable identifying SLC500 components and will be able to reload a program into the system. Fee $1,099
