More Information:

Mark your calendar for May 16, 7:45 am for SMBTOL: Using Social Media in the Job Search. A 2010 Execunet survey finds that in terms of researching job candidates "recruiters have fully adopted 'Googling' as a best practice with 90 percent regularly conducting this activity." The growth of social media has continued to fuel this activity. How can a job seeker refine his/her online reputation and what are employers looking for? This Social Media Breakfast will focus on using social media in the job search from both the perspective of a job candidate as well as an employer. The event will begin with a period of networking and then attendees will move into a panel discussion, either for employers or prospective employees.

Panelists Include: Kevin Cesarz - Communica, Patrick Giammarco - Duct Tape Marketing, Don Leith - Monster.com, and Meredith Soleau - Ed Schmidt Automotive.

There is no charge for this event, but registration is required as seating is limited. If you are interested in learning more please email tnorris@northweststate.edu.
