The Toledo IEEE Section in conjunction with the Student Section and IEEE Women in Engineering are hosting an event, the highlight of which is a 1 PDH presentation on Autonomous Vehicles.

The presenter is Robert Neff, a corporate officer in the Intrass Corporation. Bob is member of the SAE Vehicle to Vehicle Communications Standards Technical Committee, and past Chairman of the SAE V2V Vehicle Safety Subcommittee. Bob is chair of IEEE South East Michigan Section. Robert will bring an autonomous vehicle to campus, subject to acquiring a campus permit.

There will be networking and discussing careers with students. This event will also include a tour of an energy and a cyber-security lab showcasing groundbreaking research that is being done at the University of Toledo.

This event will be from 5:30pm till 8:30pm at the Brady Center (1600 N. Westwood Ave.) at the University of Toledo, on Tuesday September 18. Free food and drinks will be provided.
