Students (college and high school) are invited to join the University of Toledo ACM's Women in Computing student chapter at their first ever Local Hack Day (sponsored by Major League Hacking)!

MLH Local Hack Day - https://localhackday.mlh.io/ - is a 12 hour hack day taking place at the University of Toledo Brady Center that brings together the local hacker community to celebrate building awesome technology.

On December 2nd, students around the world will be simultaneously hosting their own MLH Local Hack Day at their school, resulting in the single largest day of student hacking ever.

What is a hackathon/hack day? A hackathon/hack day is best described as an “invention marathon”. Anyone who has an interest in technology attends a hackathon to learn, build & share their creations over the course of a weekend in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. You don’t have to be a programmer and you certainly don’t have to be majoring in Computer Science.

No programming/engineering experience necessary! Come to learn!

FREE FOOD THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE EVENT.

PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED AT THE END OF THE EVENT.

Open to all students from any university/college. Area high school students are also welcome to attend.

If you are a software developer, you may want to volunteer as a mentor.
