SPEAKER: Angie Goodnight, Information and Community Outreach Coordinator, The Ability Center

PRESENTATION: Angie's presentation on "Disability Awareness" provides a unique perspective on some of the daily issues facing people with disabilities. Angie will highlight ways The Ability Center can educate and assist individuals with and without disabilities.
Speaker Bio: Angie Goodnight is the Information and Community Outreach Coordinator for The Ability Center and has been at the center for 10 years. Prior to working at the Center, Angie owned and operated Angie's Angels, a home health care agency. Having acquired her disability later in life, (she lost her sight in her early thirties) Angie shares her perspective about living and working with a disability in the community.
A light dinner will be provided. The cost to attend is $10 (non-members), $5 (members). The fee is waived for first time guests!
