Lego Robotics Summer Camp for Adults (Week 2)

More Information:

Are you an adult that likes to play with Lego bricks? Do you like robots? Why should kids have all the fun?

The FIRST Lego League is normally limited to kids between 9 and 14, but the Sylvania STEM Center is running a four week summer camp for adults. During these sessions, you will be able to build and program autonomous Lego sumo robots with Lego Mindstorms EV3 components.

Check out http://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/fll/what-is-first-lego-league for more information on FIRST Lego League.

In the fourth week, you will compete with your robot in Lego Sumo matches, where your robot will attempt to knock other robots out of the sumo ring. We have the robots, parts and computers.

No experience necessary—we have experienced coaches that will help you with your robot.

Cost is $50 and we will meet on Wednesdays from 7-9 on 7/27, 8/3, 8/10 and 8/17. We will have snacks and soft drinks, but you are free to BYOB if you so choose.
