Warnock, Tanner has been working with a number of firms recently that have faced numerous software license compliance challenges that could have been prevented. Or whose financial impact was minimized with a proactive approach to understanding what changes in Servers, Infrastructure, Virtualization, etc. will do to affect associated software license compliance.
The Toledo Metro Oracle Users Group (TMOUG) will be discussing how you can make sure software licensing compliance is planned (no surprises!!!) and wherever possible minimized economically.
Please pass this Save the Date notice on to your Managers of Infrastructure, your IT Procurement agents, your IT Budget and IT Assets managers and anyone else that wants to discuss how to minimize the impact of Software Costs when you are going through server consolidation, application upgrades and migrations, Virtualization (especially VMWare), and any other normal IT changes.
