Commercial Acceleration Loan Fund (CALF) 101

Come to LaunchPad Incubation at the University of Toledo to learn about CALF, The Commercial Acceleration Loan Fund.

CALF is an Ohio Third Frontier program that provides early-stage funding to investment-validated Ohio companies developing next generation products and services.

CALF bridges the gap between an early stage entrepreneurs’ need for capital and the traditional financing sources primarily reserved for established businesses.

Successful CALF applicants are categorized within eligible industry sectors and technology commercialization phases, demonstrate the potential to grow substantially in size and value over a relatively short time-horizon, and are investment-validated through earlier rounds of venture capital, professional angel group financing, or significant capital infusion from qualifying strategic partners.

Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to Jessica Sattler, jessica.sattler@utoledo.edu.

This CALF 101 session will especially help anyone interested in submitting an "intent to apply" on April 1st. More on the application process: https://www.development.ohio.gov/files/otf/CALF%20Request%20for%20Application%20-%20Round%202%20(2016).pdf
