What You Will Learn: A former business owner will walk you through the business planning process (including the financial section) and provide information on business entities and identifying your market niche. You'll also receive in-depth information on compliance issues such as taxes, deductions and employees. A section of this important workshop is dedicated to various funding programs and incentives.
What You Will Receive: Attendees receive access to the Small Business Development Center's free one-on-one business consulting service. Building on what you've learned through this seminar, our staff of consultants - former business owners themselves - can provide additional guidance as you start or grow your business venture. Additionally, as your plans progress, the Chamber's Business Development Services staff can help by connecting you with opportunities for further training, such as the FastTrac entrepreneurial courses, SBA and IRS seminars.
The cost for the workshop is $10 per person. Reservations must be made in advance to attend this seminar.
