Sara Best, Training and Development Manager, Hylant

In the complex world of business, healthcare, education, charity, and politics, research shows that one core competency may hold the key to leadership influence and success. Some call it street smarts and common sense; others call it “EQ” or emotional intelligence.

In today’s climate, a leader’s ability to navigate white water, nano-second change, and solve complex real-world problems collaboratively seems to depend on their ability to master a critical set of competencies that aren’t necessarily learned in a the classroom.

Through education, discussion, reflection & activity, this robust session will help participants understand:

• What is emotional intelligence or EQ?

• Why it is important, especially to leaders?

• What is the practical, real-life application?

• How to leverage strengths and develop weaker areas

Sara has been helping employees grow and develop for 25 years in global, national, regional, and local organizations of all sizes and scope in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors.
