Integration of technology in the classroom

The May Technical Society of Toledo luncheon will be Friday May 18th at the Toledo Club.

Featured speaker will be: Chris Hamady, Director of Technology, Central Catholic High School.

Chris graduated in 1992 from the Dana School of Music at Youngstown State University with a BA in voice. He completed a master's degree in music composition and a second master's in choral conducting in 1997 from Bowling Green State University. He was awarded the BGSU James Paul Kennedy Music Achievement award for outstanding graduate student in music that same year. Over the past 14 years, Chris has taught at all educational levels from kindergarten through college.

Chris will be discussing the integration of technology in the classroom as well as the Apple Distinguished School award that CCHS has received for the past 3 years under his guidance. CCHS is one of only 56 schools in the nation to receive this award in 2012. Chris himself has received an Apple Distinguished Educator award in 2007 for the innovative use of Apple products in education.
